2017 AOB Postdoctoral Fellow Danielle Mai, PhD won a 2022 AFOSR YIP Award (Air Force Office of Scientific Research Young Investigator Program). "YIP recipients receive a three-year grant totaling $450,000." This award will support the Mai Lab’s work toward engineering biomolecular actuators from ion-responsive repeat proteins.
