2017 BSP Sita Chandrasekaran Received 2021 Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship

2017 Beckman Scholar Sita Chandrasekaran has been named a 2021 Paul and Daisy Soros Fellow. The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowship for New Americans is "the premier graduate school fellowship for immigrants and children of immigrants in the United States." The 2021 class includes 30 New Americans selected from a pool of 2,445 applicants. The $90,000 Fellowship will support Sita's work towards a PhD in bioengineering at the University of California, Berkeley and the University of California, San Francisco.
