2019 BYI Dr. Kirk Wangensteen Awarded Industry Grant

Join us in congratulating 2019 BYI Kirk Wangensteen, MD/PhD, recipient of an industry grant awarded by Calico Life Sciences, LLC, for a project to discover new drug targets in liver cancer.

In addition, Dr. Wangensteen provided an oral presentation at the Liver Meeting on November 16th, 2020: "A pooled in vivo CRISPRi screen identifies synthetic lethal partners of MYC in hepatocellular carcinoma development."
