2020 BYI Dipti Nayak Receives 2021 Simons Early Career Investigator in Marine Microbial Ecology and Evolution Award

Congratulations to 2020 BYI Dipti Nayak, PhD who received The Simons Foundation Early Career Investigator in Marine Microbial Ecology and Evolution Award of 2021. This grant of $222,000 per year, over a three year period will help further Nayak's research. 

In addition, Dr. Nayak received the Rose Hills Innovator Award from University of California Berkeley, for innovative research using synthetic ANME archaea to sequester atmospheric methane and covert it into value-added commodities.
