Beckman Foundation Celebrates “Girls in STEM” at Los Alamitos Youth Center

On Wednesday, March 27, Beckman Foundation’s Executive Director Dr. Anne Hultgren and Curator and Communications Officer Kaerie Ray attended a special presentation day event for the “Girls in STEM” program at Los Alamitos Youth Center. As a sponsor of the program, we presented 18 program participants in second through sixth grades with certificates, “Level Up Your Science” t-shirts, and Beckman stickers – and also shared two Spring-themed science demonstrations: The bouncy egg and microwave Peeps battle.
