The Beckman Foundation Board of Directors attended the 30th anniversary celebration for the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
The Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology celebrated their 30th anniversary with a packed 3-day agenda of receptions, lectures and events, including:
- "Quantum Rhapsodies" live performance
- A declaration of Oct 2, 2019 as "Beckman Institute Day"
- Science snippets by graduate students and postdoctoral fellows
- Beckman-Brown annual lecture
And the opening of a "Beckman Escape Room" - several members of the Beckman Foundation Board were able to successfully solve the puzzles to make it out!
