Dr. Phil LeDuc joins the Scientific Advisory Council
The Foundation is pleased to announce that Dr. Phil LeDuc has joined the Beckman Foundation's Scientific Advisory Council (SAC) in October, 2019. The role of the SAC is to provide advice and review of the Foundation's program and award winners to the Board of Directors, as well as recommend changes or new avenues for impactful funding.
Dr. LeDuc is a former recipient of the Beckman Young Investigator Award (2005) and has served the Foundation in many roles since completing his award, including reviewing proposals for multiple programs and mostly recently serving as a member of the Executive Committee of the Arnold O. Beckman Postdoctoral Fellows Program. Dr. LeDuc joins other SAC members Dr. Karl Mueller (co-chair), Dr. Jason Shear (co-chair), Dr. Annaliese Franz, Dr. Kent Hill, and Dr. Anne McNeil in serving the Foundation and Board of Directors.
“We're thrilled to have Dr. LeDuc join our SAC. His extensive experience with the Foundation and our programs will be a valuable asset to the Council and the Foundation.
