Honoring the life and legacy of Dexter Scott King, who lost his 3 1/2 year battle to prostate cancer January 22, 2024 at the age of 62. Dexter S. King was one of the sons of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Dexter followed the legacy of his father as an activist of civil rights.
Dr. Bernice King, Reverend and CEO of The King Center, made a promise to her brother Dexter to continue their work of carrying forward the legacy of Dr. King and The King Center as well as his vision for all humanity to love and have respect for each other.
