Research Summary
Angela's current research centers on studying the molecular basis of sleep in Cassiopea, an upside-down jellyfish. She will be joining the Wang Lab at UCSF starting the summer of 2023, which has a research focus on stroke and angiogenesis.
“OC Beckman Legacy Award has helped me a long way in my undergraduate career both financially and academically. My participation in the scholarship program in high school fueled my interest in scientific research and inspired me to continue the path in college, which will forever shape my career choice.
